Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has won numerous awards for her work. She has been a vocal advocate for animal rights. Ali MacGraw is known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. Her family was an artist family in New York and wanted to pursue a career in art. She started as a photography assistant and then turned to acting and modeling. MacGraw was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw became a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. She was named the best female box-office star of the globe after just three films. Her footprints from 1972 as well as autograph was recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. She was a part of several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw was divorced three times.
