Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer, best known as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions, before becoming big on the national theatre area with Li'l abner's in 1957. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina in the same year. Louise made her debut on the screen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre which was a dramatic which was made in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda the main character of the movie. While a student at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her next memorable role came from 1964, when she enrolled with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career successfully between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber characters as opposed to her image as being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as well as Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has earned a reputation as a producer on a variety of popular TV shows like Supernatural. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 27th August, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was three. Her childhood was spent there as well as her adolescence. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She was there ever from then on.
